Why You Should Jog

Why do we always find an excuse so that we can start jogging? Like for instance, when we have an occasion that has given us a blessed dinner or something, why do we indulge in it and say that we will just jog off the calories that we will consume? But this is just to realize in the end that you cannot really find a time to get around and do it, right?

So what happens now to the extra calories you just had—say from a very sumptuous homemade meal that your wife has cooked? Do you know that they could be stacked somewhere and just within your hips, thighs, and waist?

And what is worse is that you cannot really find the time, or the patience, to actually go or visit the gym or at least position yourself in front of your TV set and do the aerobic exercise that you have in one of your DVDs. Hence, what other option you have now? You cannot just let that flab stays there for good, now can you?

This is where jogging fits in. No, do not think or say that jogging is the exercise meant for the old people only, because you are wrong. You might not know it, but when you jog along with your friend, or some of them, you are actually doing probably the perfect workout that you could ever give your body.

It is known that jogging, brisk walking, or running are considered cardio exercises since they help you in strengthening your lungs and heart. When done regularly, jogging will also lessen the risks of a possible heart attack.

2.      Jogging can also aid you in losing the excess pounds that you never wanted in the first place. Since you will be able to sweat a lot, you will also burn a lot of those unwanted calories and in a lot faster way too. And if you really think that this is still not a better reason to jog, what else do you have there in your pretty little head?

3.      Without any further ado, jogging is the cheapest but the most effectively devised forms of exercise that you can ever have. What you will need is just the best pair of running shoes—you’re all set to go. Bringing along your portable MP3 player and jog while listening to some favorite tunes will be a way for you to have some quality time off for yourself. But having a friend with you can also become a blessing.

The things I mentioned above are just some of the benefits that you can easily get from jogging; there are still more of them. And the list will just be endless. But the bottom line is that this exercise is not just for the old folks; this is one exercise that will yield good and positive results for you as well.
